Security Overview

Private Space uses app-controlled encryption and Android Keystore wrapping. Vault metadata and content are opened only after successful calculator-sequence unlock and access-policy checks.

Ad boundary

For free users after the ad-free entry limit, Claqio does not load vault metadata before the interstitial is dismissed or fails open. Pending secrets are cleared if the app backgrounds, the screen turns off, or the unlock transition becomes stale.

Screen protection

Calculator, restore, setup, and Private Space screens use Android secure-window flags to reduce screenshots and screen recording exposure.
